Welcome to This Photographer's Life 2014 Holiday Gift Guide! My bff and favorite blog reader Elise called me early in the season asking for help with gift ideas. I get really passionate about presents and stand behind what I give. After we figured out her list, she suggested I do a gift guide. So, Elise, I'm sorry it's a little late, but here is! Merry Christmas my love!
Choose Happiness Room Scent Diffuser
This "Choose Happiness" room scent diffuser transformed my living room and makes the whole house smell good! It's from Target, and the price is perfect. Your co-workers will love you! Click here to buy.
Bird Earrings
My friend Dani owns a store in Boston called Flock, and it carries the best stuff! Every time I go there I buy tons of clothes and accessories, but as soon as I get home I wish I'd gotten more. I bought these on my very first trip to Flock, and they are my favorite purchase. I wear them several times a week, and they go with jeans or a sequin holiday dress. Similar here.
The Perfect Booties
These Michael Kors booties transformed my holiday look. I bought them last week to wear to my friend Nikole's baby shower, and I've worn them at least 6 times since. They are my go to holiday accessory, and I don't know how I lived without them. Buy them now! You won't regret it!
Amethyst Ring
This is another Flock purchase I made a few years ago. It's perfect for parties or shows. I love the way it catches the light and makes everything sparkle. It's really well made and a great investment. Similar here and Here.
Turkish-T Throw
This Turkish-T blanket it perfect! It's cotton and very light, so it's great for summer or winter in Atlanta. It's a great price point as well. I'm really looking forward to curling up in at and looking at our Christmas tree. Order here.
Reed & Barton Bells
I love Reed & Barton Annual Christmas Bells. My mom has a collection of these that she started when we were born. They are so beautiful. Many years ago my step-mother started giving me one every year, and I love unpacking them and thinking about past Christmases! This a great collectable. Order Here.
Itty Bitties by Melissa Payne Baker
Melissa Payne Baker makes these beautiful "itty bitties" as ornaments. They are for sale right now on Things That Inspire, so please go order a few. They look so great on the tree!
EYN Phone Case
I bought this phone case a few years ago at "Just the Thing" on Pharr Road. It's perfect because it holds all my credit cards and has a little mirror. Someone asks me at least twice a day where I got it. The case is perfect for a new mom who doesn't have any room for a big purse. Order Online Here.
Artifact Uprising Photo Book
Photo borrowed from their website
Every year I give Jimmy a photo book to remember the year and how lucky we are. Usually I make scrap books, but this year with the short season and new baby I ran out of time. My friend Ginny told me about Artifact Uprising and their beautiful products and easy layout tools. Order tonight to get your gifts by Christmas!
Ralph Lauren Fleece Blanket
When Linda Williams and I were shopping for things for the house, I told her how cold Jimmy and I got at night, and she knew just the thing. We got this blanket from Home Goods, and it transformed our sleep experience. It's so warm and cozy! I cannot find them online, but if you go to your local Home Goods they are in the blanket section.
Park Hall Candle - Evergreen
I am a candle snob because scents that are too strong give me a headache. That's hard at Christmas because you want the holiday scent, but most candles are just too much. This is the perfect mix. It costs $25 at Lucy's Market and is the prefect thing for all your cocktail parties, so go by and get some tomorrow.
One Man's Folly
My uncle, Rod Collins, photographed this book about antiques expert Furlow Gatewood. He is good friends with Furlow, and this was a labor of love over several years. I am so proud of how hard he worked on it, and the final product is exceptional. It would make the perfect Christmas gift. Order here.
Merry Christmas everybody!
