It's not secret that I am a bedding snob. I write about it on this blog often, and I talk to friends about it more than I should. When you are 8+ months pregnant, life's little luxuries are few and far between. They really come down to a good pedicure, a slightly hotter than lukewarm bath, the perfect slice of apple pie, and luxurious bedding waiting for you at the end of the day.
When luxury bedding company SACHI reached out to me and asked me if I'd like to try their new sheets, I jumped at the chance. Long time readers of the blog know there are several bedding companies out there who offer lower prices by cutting out the middle man and going straight to Europe for the sheets. Before I committed I asked what made these sheets different from the competition. Here are the main takeaways:
- These sheets have a very high thread count. There thread count is similar to Frette and Sferra, which cost 3-4 times as much.
- They source their sheets from the same factories as Frette and Sferra but are able to sell them at a lower cost by going directly to the customers.
- The fabric is constructed to last for several years and get softer with age, which makes it perfect for a master bedroom and not just a guest room where you wash sheets less often.
I received my sheets over a month ago and have washed them several times. I have not noticed any pilling, and I can attest to the quality and comfort. I am very impressed!
My favorite thing about the company is that they offer both free swatches AND A 30 NIGHT TRIAL. There's nothing worse than opening sheets from the internet and realizing you made a mistake. This relieves all the pressure. You can order right now with the code TPL25 for $25 off any sheet set. This code expires April 30th 2016.
