The last time I wrote on this blog the world was ending. We’d been sent home from work, told to stay in our houses and become teachers to our children. The last 18 months have been hard on the world, and I’ve certainly felt it. I’ve tried to keep in mind that diamonds are created under pressure, but the pressure has been both overwhelming and life changing. I know I am not the same person who entered quarantine in 2020, and I doubt you are either. I’ve changed.
My children, Oliver and Quinn are doing great. Oliver is in first grade (can you believe it?), and Quinn is in 5/6. Jimmy is still working at Delta and loves it there. The children have actually started a YouTube channel and I know they’d love your support… hahaha. We got through the pandemic as a family, with only 3/4 of us getting Covid. We camped out through Christmas, worked from home, and brought several backyard blow up pools. Porch cocktails and cheese plates became a thing, and our “brand new house” is now looking well loved and in need of some new paint.
Things at Beacham & Co. are going so well. We’ve put out so many beautiful marketing pieces recently and even won some national awards. The Beacham Insider, which came out this week, is one of my favorite pieces. Click to read it! This issue has a lot on information on the market in general, and specifically the Atlanta housing market.
For those of you who like houses, and I know you do, last week I shot an incredible family home in Sandy Springs listed by Kathy Rubenstein. Can you BELIEVE this backyard??
My art is still going well, and I love the way the pieces have matured over time. This is one of my favorite recent pieces. Thank you so much to so many of you who have supported me! I am planning on (finally) having a live show at my studio, so please be on the lookout for more information.
I will leave you for now, but we have so much to catch up on! I plan on writing once a week, so make sure you’re subscribed to my email list. To tide you over I want to throw it back to my favorite TPL Fall recipe. Chili!
Talk soon,
