Norman Askins designed the perfect French home. Located at the end of a lane of Cherry Blossoms, it's the perfect place to spend a Spring day! I shot this home, listed by Linda Finsthwait and Glennis Beacham of Beacham & Company, a few weeks ago. They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but I judged this home by the floors. I didn't have the courage to do light floors in our new house, but I've always LOVED them. The painted wood in the guest room stole my heart. The tile in the entry way is complete perfection. It is VERY rare for me to fall in love with a house at first sight. Are there beautiful homes that I shoot and fall in in love with? Yes. That's the whole basis for this blog; however, it is very very rare that I drive up to a home and fall head over heels in love before I even walk through the front door. In fact, I can name them on one hand. Our new house, this Neel Reid home designed by by Margaux Interiors, a Keith Summerour home I shot a few years ago, and this Stan Dixon masterpiece we are currently discussing.

A few weeks ago I shot 4583 Stella Drive for Ginger Scott of Beacham & Company. While I was there I posted this photo on facebook, and you guys went crazy for it! I don't blame you :)
This house is exactly what buyers are looking for right now. In fact, while I was there I was crafting this blog post in my head, and before I could get the photos processed Ginger already had it under contract. Part of the reason this house went so quickly is because Ginger staged it herself. That is a service she offers to her clients. She has excellent taste, and the houses always look amazing. Most of the time after she stages a house it sells very quickly! I wanted to show you guys this house so badly so you could see how beneficial the staging was, and I was thrilled when Ginger said I could :) Enjoy.
