I hope you all had a great weekend! On Saturday I had an inspection I for Glennis Beacham. If you're not familiar, that's when a buyer brings in an expert to make sure everything is ok with the house they are buying. It's a process that takes several hours, which I used to come up with some great blog content for you guys this week!
Saturday night Jimmy and I went to Decatur on a date night. Jimmy asked me to pick restaurants, and I'd been itching to use this guide from Atlanta Magazine of the 50 Best Restaurants in Atlanta. We started with drinks at Kimball House. I must say the bar was extremely impressive. Not only did I love the look of it, but they took my regular drink and elevated it to something really special with fresh orange juice, big cubes of ice, and a metal straw.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the colder weather. It's such a relief!
We survived the anniversary of my dad's death a few weeks ago. It was something I was actively dreading. The month before I dyed my hair red and tried several different ways to distract myself. The day of was so surreal... like living through a dream. I want to thank my sister-in-law a thousand times for her care and support. We hung out most of the day, got our nails done, and she allowed me to have stupid surface level conversation mixed with moments of silence. She brought me a flower and made sure I knew we were going through it together... and really that's what you need. I love you Laura. Thank you.
