The Trinity Spotlight on Art is next week, and I am so excited. It is a fantastic opportunity to see work by emerging and established artists in the Southeast. The artwork is broken down into categories like contemporary, folk and children's, which makes it very easy to view. They also have a phenomenal jewelry selection from local artisans. The show takes place in the gym at Trinity and is open every day next week.
I usually go more than one time, because as soon as a piece is purchased they replace it with another, so the inventory is constantly changing. The prices are incredible, and pieces start at only $5 and go up to $5000.
Monday night is the opening party and Friday is the Cocktails and Canvases party. Wine is served at both events, which always makes me want to buy more art :). I love each and every piece I've collected from this event over the years, and I always look forward to it.

Below I've included a sampling of work from a few of the featured artists. These are not necessarily pieces that will be on display, but it's just to give you an example of their styles.
