This home, built in 1917 by Neel Reid, is considered the greatest achievement of his career. It has 6 bedrooms and the gracious living spaces were truly meant for entertaining. It is located on West Paces Ferry across from the Governor's Mansion, which is possibly Buckhead's most coveted piece of property. Reid drew his inspiration from George Washington's Virginia home Mount Vernon. This home was originally build for James L. Dickey Jr. and construction cost $119,850. Today the home is on the market with Beacham & Company REALTORS (Glennis Beacham, Cia Cummings and Molly Berry) for $4,500,000. Check out the photos taken by myself and Rod Collins.
