The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Summer Sizzle (presented by Delta Airlines) is taking place on Friday, Aug. 26th at 8 PM at Summerour Studio, and it will be the party of the Summer. How do I know? I'm on the committee and was in charge of picking the band, so you know it's awesome! ;) ;) ;) We will also have cocktails, wine, rosé and a silent auction... all the must haves for a "it's not a wedding but we still want a chance to get together with our friends to let loose and have a few cocktails" party. I, for one, cannot wait. I'm also so excited about all the auction items and plan on doing some bidding fo sho. More than four hundred Atlantans donned in their summer whites are expected to attend this Southern-inspired soiree supporting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Attendees will enjoy authentic Southern menu catered by Epting Events, specialty summer cocktails, and music by band Anita & Party Life. There will be an exciting silent auction featuring rare art, travel deals, and luxury items.
For real, we are SO lucky to have CHOA in Atlanta!! I fell so much better knowing it's right down the street if Oliver and Quinn ever need to go there. Last year this party raised $90,379 for CHOA, and we are hoping to raise even more money this year!
This year's co-chairs, Meredith McClure and Meredith Underwood, are doing a fantastic job getting the event organized, and I'm certain it will be a success! Below is a photo of the host committee (I was not in the photo because I was too pregnant - which is a legit excuse!).
