This weekend my family (just the 3 of us) went to Palm Beach for the night. Jimmy grew up going to Palm Beach to visit his grandmother, and I've been going with him since we met. I really enjoy Palm Beach for the houses and beautiful Worth Avenue, but I REALLY love the Four Seasons there. Jimmy used to work for Four Seasons, so I got really spoiled. We were able to go all the time. It was always special, but now that we don't get to go very often, I cherish every moment there. Of all the Four Seasons we've visited, Palm beach is by far my favorite. They are so nice and attentive to what we need. They put a crib in our room, gave O stuffed animals and a rubber duckie, blew up our pool floatie, and brought us hot water for a bottle. I was so aware of how lucky we were to be there for the night. I know now that we have a baby, these little nights of luxury are coming to an end, in fact, this may have been our last one, and I'm so grateful that I've had them. Who wouldn't want to be treated like a princess?
At the airport. O is an expert at flying now!

The lounge at the Four Seasons is breathtaking.

The Four Seasons has beautiful flowers everywhere. Every time we go, I'm struck by the talent of the floral designers. Please scroll through the above gallery. You will be so impressed.
Right when we got to the room, all O wanted to do was lounge on the bed, so we got in a quick photo shoot in his Palm Beach casual outfit. The light was perfect.
We got dressed and ready to head to the pool.
A little Miami Vice for mom and dad.
Post swim snuggles.
After the swim, we went up for a bath to get warm. Then O put on his jammies, and we went for a sunset stroll on the beach.
Checking out birds with dad.
After our sunset stroll, we headed back up to the room so O could go to bed. Jimmy and I planned to spend the night relaxing in the room. Every year I try to see all the Academy Award nominated movies, but this year I've only seen one. I had huge plans of watching AT LEAST 2 movies at the hotel, and we wanted room service of course.
We decided on Nightcrawler first.
One of Jimmy's friends was nice enough to send us a fruit plate and a bucket of beers, which we enjoyed while we waited for our dinner.
Our Cheeseburgers arrived, and we ate in front of the TV. We were both asleep before 9 pm and didn't even make it to the end of one movie! Ahhh, life as a parent.
This weekend was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. As we walked on the beach as a family of 3, I've never wanted to freeze time so badly. We will never again be strolling on a beach at sunset with our only child who can't walk and is happy to stay in our arms and point at the birds. It was such a beautiful moment that I will forever hold in my heart.
When I woke up on Sunday morning, I had a very still moment where I realized I've never been this happy in my entire life. God blessed me with two men I could not possibly love more. My heart expands every time we are together. I am so grateful, so thankful, and so proud of my little family.
