I am not sure how many of you know this about me, but before I graduated from the University of Georgia, I went to Boston University. I chose that school for the Photojournalism Department, and when I transferred my Sophomore year, I was one credit shy of a painting minor. Although I do not really paint anymore, the walls of our house are full of paintings I created (see dress piece above). I love being surrounded by these pieces, and recently I've thought a lot about picking the paintbrush back up and seeing what happens. Until then, I remain inspired by these ladies on Instagram. I love seeing their beautiful pieces popping up in my feed, and they make every day a little more beautiful.
Britt Bass Turner
Britt Bass Turner lives in Roswell. GA with her husband. She graduated from UGA and is one of the most successful Atlanta artists I know about/ I love her light and airy pieces, and her use of color appeals to so many people. She's grown so much as an artist in the past few years, and I can't wait to watch her continue on her journey. (website)
Brynn Weiermiller
I'm obsessed with Brynn's work. My brother and Laura recently bought a new home, and I scoured the internet for art for them that was unique and local. That's how I found Brynn. The calm repetition of patter in her waves is so calming, and the colors are cool and reflective. I wish I had all her pieces, but one day I will own at least one. She is someone to watch! She loves in Marietta, GA and went to UGA. (website)
Laura Naples and Kristen Giorgi - The NG Collective Studio
Laura and Kristin are sisters who live across the country from each other (Ohio and Georgia), but they critique each other's work. together they make up the NG Collective Studio. I love the look the achieve together, as well as the projects such as small pieces and pillow cases. I WILL own a piece soon. I love them! Below are a few of my favorites. (website)

Beth Winterburn
Beth Winterburn went to the University of Tennessee. She studied architecture and photography first, and later became an artist after she was commissioned to make a large scale piece. I love how her website describes her work. (website)
